    Destination Imagination 
    Congratulations to the 2 teams who represented Memorial at the DI Regional Tournament in Amherst last Saturday, The Rising Stars team, and the LMBAV Ninjas who placed 2nd. Thanks to all of the volunteers who have worked with these kids since last fall, especially their Team Managers.

    Bedford School District students had an opportunity to cast a vote for our 4th Grade Musical Performance during our School/Town Voting Day on Tuesday, March 12th. 
    Here are the results:

    Memorial School’s Annual Spring Fling Event 
    Spring Fling is coming back to Memorial on Friday, March 29th!

    No After School Program on March 29
    We are informing you that we will not be holding a program at Memorial on 03/29, due to the Spring Fling, however we will still be holding the IMAGINE program.  We will bus the children as normal to our Back River Rd location.

    Book Fair
    "The Annual PTG Spring Book Fair is COMING. Book Fair dates are Monday, April 8th through Thursday, April 11th. Hours will be Monday and Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 3pm. The children will be participating in class visits to the fair starting on Friday, April 5th so be on the look out for Student Wish Lists that will come home with the kids. In conjunction with the Book Fair, we will be holding a coin drive in which the proceeds generated will go to the School's Classrooms and Library. A flyer regarding the coin drive will be coming home with your student(s)!

    COLOR BLAST FUN RUN/WALK COMMUNITY EVENT: Get excited, registration opens March 15th for another fun filled Color Blast Fun Run/Walk to be held on Sunday, June 2nd.
    New Registration discounts available…Children’s price now applies to kids 10 and under and 4-pack of entries available at a reduced rate.

    GRANDPARENTS/SENIORS DAY: Lurgio is proud to host Grandparents and Senior Citizen Day on March 21st! Guests will be treated to a dress rehearsal performance of the Little Mermaid, a tour of the school and a light lunch. Registration is required by March 15th.     REMINDERS
    Food Pantry
    Memorial is continuing to work with the Bedford Food Pantry to help collect food items that are most needed by families.  Every other month we will be collecting 1 food item. For the month of March that item is Pasta with Meat.   We will have a box for donations in the hallway by the main entrance.  Thank you so much for supporting this very worthy cause, which supports Bedford families.
