Words of the Month for June: Fairness and Cooperation
Week of June 12:
June 14: Review of all Words of the Month/Character Traits.  Phrase of the day: “Character is defined as what we do when we think no one is looking.”  It is what we do when no one is looking that counts.  It takes a long time to grow into a person with all the character traits.  Peacemaker Challenge: Keep practicing all the words of the month to become a peacemaker.
June 16: Final words. Peacemaker Challenge: Spread peace wherever you go and have a safe, healthy and fun summer!

Last Day
Just a reminder that Monday, June 19th is the last day of school. Dismissal is at 12:20.

Found
In the front lobby, a tan Oticon hearing aide and shoe was found. Please contact the main office if you lost a hearing aide.

Fourth Grade Play
A very special thank you to Kristian Carson, Lisa Haynes, Leslie Fredette and the fourth grade team for the work they did to make "Robin Hood, The Musical" come to life. The fourth grade actors/actresses were phenomenal.

Medication Pick Up Reminder
Dear Parents:
Please remember to pick up your child's medication in the health office by the last day of school.  Medications that are not picked up will be discarded.
If your child will need medication at school next school year they will require a new doctor's order for each new school year.  Please feel free to email or call with any questions.
It has been a pleasure to be the school nurse at Memorial School.
Have a wonderful, relaxing and healthy summer!
Thanks,
Anna Cook
School Nurse

Fourth Grade Clap Out
On Monday, June 19th our last day of school, we will clap-out our fourth graders as they board buses to attend step-up day at McKelvie. We encourage fourth grade parents to join us in the lobby for the clap-out. Clap out will be around 9 AM.

As we close out another school year, the Bedford PTG would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all of our volunteers who selflessly give their time to support our events throughout the school year.  It is due to our amazing volunteers that we can provide so many enriching programs to Bedford students.

Enjoy the summer!

Words of the Month for June: Fairness and Cooperation
Week of May 29:
June 2: Fairness Phrase of the day: “Fairness is making sure all are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve.”  Fairness is giving everyone a chance to have it their way when playing and listening to all ideas when working together. Peacemaker Challenge: Listen to everyone’s ideas and give everyone a turn to decide what to play.

Field Day Pictures
Please help us if you took pictures at Field Day. You can certainly put your child's picture on social media but request that you do not put pictures of groups of students. Many families do not want their child's picture on social media and we do not have permission to do that.
