Congratulations to 3rd grader, Evan Bruno. from Mrs. Johnson's class. Evan is a member of team Animal Brigade at McKelvie. Teams are now organizing many fundraisers to help offset the cost of getting to the Global Finals in Knoxville, TN next month and appreciate your support.

Ecosmith - Shoes, Bags & Belt Drive Starts Monday
Bedford DI is having a special drive through Ecosmith Recyclers. From now until May 25th, you can donate all your old shoes, bags and belts (any condition) in the marked boxes in our school lobby. These items must be placed in a special blue bag. This is a great way to get your spring-cleaning under way, while helping raise funds for the teams heading to Global Finals in Knoxville, TN. Reminder, clothing, fabrics, stuffed animals etc. can always be donated in the bin in the parking lot. We appreciate your support. For more info, contact bedfordrocksdi@gmail.com
DI of the Storm from Bedford High School, took 1st place in the Project Outreach challenge,Inside Impact. They were also given the Torchbearer's Award.
"This award is given for Project Outreach projects that have had an extraordinary impact in and beyond their local community."

Lost and Found
With the change of seasons we are seeing an increase in the number of items in our Lost and Found. If you are missing anything please ask your child to check the Lost and Found. Items not picked up by April vacation will be donated and no longer available. Thank you.

Spring Fling Thank you
Once again the annual Spring Fling was a huge success. We continue to marvel over the overwhelming generosity, enthusiasm, and support from our Memorial families and the community. We are fortunate to have such dedicated, committed volunteers, and some new members join our committee. Our delicious dinner was provided by Luisa’s and salad by the Puritan Backroom. Harvest Market donated the beverages.

Your continued support help us provide our students with quality educational opportunities. Your participation has impacted our school community by providing us with a sense of community that helps make Memorial flourish.

Thank you to the Manchester Community Music School who enabled this to happen. Click HERE for more information.

2018-19 School Calendar
The School Board has approved the 2018-19 School Calendar. Please note that there is a substantial change for 2018-19. The district will shift from tracking days to tracking hours. As a result, the last day of school for 2018-19 will be no later than June 14 and could be as early as June 7. The first five snow days, if needed, will be made up by students at the end of the year. Any snow days beyond five days will not need to be made up by students. This should bring some more predictability to the end of the year for families.
