Family Learning Night
Thank you for all who came and participated in our Family Learning Night.  The night was full of fun activities and it was so nice to see the families working together throughout the building.

Ellis Island
We had a wonderful reenactment of Ellis Island this morning with our 4th graders.  Thank you to Mrs. Schmitt, our 4th grade team, the high school students, and many other volunteers who assisted with this project.

Congratulations Mrs. Knepper
Mrs. Knepper was a grant recipient offered through The Bedford Craftworkers Guild. She will be working with all second grade classrooms on "Zentangle" relaxation mindfulness activities.

Food Drive
In conjunction with our Kindness and Gratitude month, we will be conducting our annual "Stuff the Turkey" Food Drive. Proceeds will go directly to the Bedford Community Food Pantry at Bedford Presbyterian Church. We greatly appreciate any canned or boxed donations you are able to give. Items such as canned proteins (meats, fish, vegetables, etc.), pasta, rice, peanut butter, jelly, rice, flour, sugar and cereal, are especially needed. If you would like to join us in helping our Bedford pantry, please send the items into school with your child. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Pleat, X-23206. Thanks for helping us support Bedford families!

Looking ahead to our Spring Fling
Are you new to Memorial and have never experienced a Spring Fling event?? Or have you been to Spring Fling and looking for opportunities to help out with the event?? The Spring Fling Fundraising Committee is in desperate need of more volunteers to help the event continue to be a success. There are a variety of ways to get involved with this fundraiser which is the only fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds go right back to Memorial School. We will be having a volunteer meeting on Friday December 7th at 9:30am in the Memorial Library for anybody who is interested in helping out. If you can't make the meeting and are still interested in helping or have any questions please email Danielle at dcbmemvolunteer@gmail.com.

Hope to see you there!
The Spring Fling Fundraising Committee
